About us
We don’t believe in talking about the “death of the high street” but we also don’t pretend things are rosy. Outside the big cities, town centres are struggling. That’s the truth. But struggle doesn’t mean the end. It means things are changing, and we need to be clear-eyed about that. We don’t know exactly what the high street of the future will look like but we do know it will be different. Our job is to help people face that change without fear, to stop leaning on tired solutions, and to start shaping something better together.
Our Mission...
Our Approach
We bring together local authorities, businesses, cultural organisations and residents to co-design practical strategies and plans. We help unlock barriers, explain complex challenges, and guide partners through change. We don’t just write reports, we take ideas through to delivery, building the organisational vehicles that can sustain transformation long after we’ve stepped away. Our role is to help people find their vision, create a plan, and build the confidence and capacity to make it happen.
Why we're different
Placemaking isn’t theory for us, it’s a 20-year practice of lived experience. We've ran businesses on High Streets, led BIDs, advised government, and devised national and international strategies.
From the evening and night time economy to heritage and through culture and economic development, We understand how the strands connect at both strategy and delivery levels.
Our expertise means we can ensure everyone gets a return on investment of money and time. More importantly, our work doesn’t end when a ribbon is cut. It creates the conditions for organic change that lasts.
